The photography ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ORDER FROM THE ARTIST
The final rendering of a drawing or a painting depends for a lot on the quality of the reference photograph and the framing.
How to know if your photos are good reference photos for the realization of an artwork.
FOR THE REALIZATION OF A BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK, THE CHOICE OF THE HEART
First of all, you have to choose the photograph(s) that you think are the most representative of your faithful companion.
There are certainly photos that seem to you more specific of your companion: a habit, a posture, a look... It is up to you to let your heart and your emotions speak. Don't stop at a background or an embarrassing detail, in painting everything can be changed. Only your animal is important.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF A PHOTOGRAPH IS OF GOOD ENOUGH QUALITY?
As far as technique is concerned, only one thing is important: the quality of the photography.
For an advanced hyperrealistic painting, a maximum of details is absolutely necessary: hairs, well visible eye colors, etc... If the photograph is really bad quality, I could not "do a miracle".
I am here to advise you and to choose with you The Photography, the one that will make your painting a Unique Artwork!

HOW TO SEND ME YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE REALIZATION OF AN ARTWORK ?
You can send me the photograph(s):
- Either by e-mail to the following address: laurencesaunois.art@gmail.com
- Or by mail if you only have "paper" photographs. I will then scan them. Once the painting is done, I will return your "paper" photographs with the work.
Once I receive your photos, I examine them and make a first selection of those that seem to me the most appropriate to make a good composition. I can crop them, modify the luminosity or the contrasts. Once this is done, I send you my selection.
You can then choose the one that suits you best. Of course, I will be at your disposal to discuss and answer all your technical questions (for example the size of the painting).

MY PET HAS PASSED AWAY AND I ONLY HAVE A FEW PICTURES OF HIM? IS THAT ENOUGH?
Yes, that can be enough. All you need is an inspiring photograph that will make a beautiful drawing or painting. Remove a detail, harmonize colors, add this or that and it's done. I will tell you frankly if this is feasible or not. Of course, if the photograph chosen is not of good quality and is very pixelated, there will be less detail on the painting than if, on the photo, you could see each hair clearly. But isn't the main thing to have a unique memory of your pet. The advantage of a painting is that the artist can play with many parameters. So, don't hesitate to contact me if you are in this situation.
