Artist Laurence Saunois created this painting to test Schaal oil paints for the Beaux-Arts giant. She painted her vision of light and color on the water lilies of Claude Monet's famous garden.
This original work is not part of the Nympheus Liminansis series, but is a small focus of the first painting in the series, the Dance of Light.

To obtain these vibrant colors, I worked with Schaal oil paints. Made by a master colorist in the purest tradition with linseed or walnut oil, they are very rich in pigments and allow to sublimate each brush stroke.

Special edition for Le Géant des Beaux Arts
