"Mouillé" - "Wet"
DESCRIPTION
This small miniature painting done in oil on a panel depicts a Red-Tail perched on an old wooden stump. He bathed in the bird bath of my artist's garden. I chose to make a bright green background to highlight it and suggest light.
This original miniature is framed with a double cream mat and a satin brown frame reminiscent of wood . It is delivered ready to be hung on the wall or to be placed on a piece of furniture.

This little redstart had just taken his bath and his feathers were completely wet. He was snorting and snorting again. These feathers were as stuck and gave him a very particular air. He had taken a position on the top of an old wooden stump and was looking into the distance. The light was beautiful and I wanted to make a bright green background to highlight it.
The pure pigments of Schaal brand oil paint were perfect for this.
