A luminous immersion in the legacy of Claude Monet
Nympheus Luminansis, Les nymphéas de la lumière (Water Lilies of Light) is a unique project by Laurence Saunois, a French artist renowned for her figurative and hyperrealistic artworks. This exhibition pays tribute to Claude Monet while offering a contemporary interpretation of his famous water lilies. Bringing together ten large-format works, the exhibition explores light as a source of emotion and contemplation. Each oil painting reveals infinite nuances that evolve according to the lighting, transforming the painting into a living tableau. Some artworks also conceal imaginary characters and shapes hidden in the reflections, inviting the viewer to enjoy a sensory and poetic experience.
