Birds - Rouge queue aux chardons
"Dare Dare", Quick Analysis of a Work of Art:
This small bird, the red tail black, is, like the swallows, for me, heralds the spring.
Faithful to my garden, they come every year to reproduce. The song of these small lively birds brightens up the air in the morning. By dint of being with the whole family in the garden, they have all become familiar to me. It is amusing to see them frequently wagging their tails or even hovering to catch insects.
In this painting, I wanted to bring together three elements of our countryside: the redstart, the thistles so graceful and so useful to biodiversity and an old wooden post. The latter, often covered with lichens, tend to disappear in favor of more recent posts or even electric fences. However, they have an undeniable charm and have long been part of the Lot landscape.
